It was his 2nd birthday party. I contacted with his parents earlier about his birthday party and the location. It was indoor gym for little kid in Frisco, TX. I arrived little early and checked the place. It is playful gym with lots of strong colors(oh, no) but at least the ceiling wast not so high so I can use the power of flash…
Before the party started, I was lucky to take his portrait. The light through the window is full of sunlight which makes very bright and soft light, but still I need a luck to catch his full smile…
He moves fast and even faster inside of gym. Lot of my prediction of his moving direction went wrong and my fast 50mm lens was not working when I kept to capture his back. So I changed to 70-200 telephoto lens and stay still and started to shoot.
The bubble was great. Birthday boy showed full smile although for me the bouncing situation was still tricky. Kids were happy and I enjoyed the scene, too as their parents were watching them with smile.
